The Enneagram - the Specific Delusions, Difficulties, and Reactions of the Enneatypes

These arise from the loss of Being that comes when we adopt a false self, and hence they come from the absence of the presence of the Holy Ideas, which are aspects of Being.  Reaction is dependent on difficulty, which is dependent on delusion.

Origin, Source separate, independent "I" disconnection, estrangement, abandonment control of self and environment

Five

Omniscience (Eyes of the Universe) separate, independent entity, isolated individuality cut-off, empty, isolated withdrawal, hiding

Six

Strength, Faith cynicism, absence of faith in human goodness fearful insecurity defensive suspiciousness

Seven

Wisdom, Work, Plan that "I" can plan the direction of Kosmos; separate planner loss of capacity to know what to do creation of plans, orientations, future-thinking
